Peaky Blinders Dance.

Dance! By order of the Peaky Blinders… written by Mary Goodchild.

In March 2018 a small group of residents met for the first time at Bridge Cottage for a Cheese and Wine Tasting Evening funded by the Arts Council.  It was great evening, where we made new friends and agreed it would be good to keep in touch. During that night we got talking about events in the Village which included filming for the 2nd and 3rd series of Peaky Blinders. We were all fans of the series and decided to set up a meeting and explore the idea of putting on an event which would not only be great fun but would also raise funds to support the work of the Community Hub.

After a series of meetings and many discussions we have organised a Peaky Blinders dance night with live music in the Old School room of the Lyceum, this event will take place on Friday 2nd November 2018.  Fancy dress is optional, but we expect people will come dressed in Peaky style with 1920’s outfits. Wirral Gin Distillery will be providing a pop-up bar, although people are also welcome to bring their own drinks.

Please see the poster for further details, tickets are £12 and available to purchase from Bridge Cottage Community Hub and Port Sunlight Village Trust Office.
