Have Your Say on the Future of Heritage in Port Sunlight

The Port Sunlight Conservation Management Plan (CMP) is now available for public consultation. The CMP sets out PSVT’s strategy to manage, maintain, conserve and enhance the heritage of our unique village over the next ten years and has been developed using up-to-date information concerning the condition of our heritage and in discussion with key stakeholders.

The document includes information about the history, significance, conditions, risks, policies and proposals for the heritage in Port Sunlight. It covers the buildings, landscapes and monuments and memorials in PSVT’s care, along with the assets owned and maintained by stakeholders, including private owners, Wirral Borough Council and others.

Consultation will close at 17.00 on 13th June 2018. Consultation comments and responses will be included in the final CMP, which is scheduled for adoption by Wirral Borough Council this summer.

The CMP is available to download from PSVT’s website portsunlightvillage.com and paper copies are available to review during normal business hours at the PSVT office at 23 King George’s Drive, CH62 5DX and the Community Hub at Bridge Cottage, 23 Park Road, CH62 4US. Consultation comments will only be accepted by post and email to feedback@portsunlightvillage.com. As this is a formal consultation, no telephone consultation, verbal feedback or consultation emailed to other addresses will be accepted.
