From this page you will find links to a section dedicated to Looking and Doing and a section on Heritage Policy and Permissions. The Looking and Doing section will be developed to include a library of short articles on assessing the condition of your heritage homes (Looking) and on how to do basic maintenance or repair works (Doing). We will also include articles on how to communicate with contractors about the type of work (appropriate materials, methods and strategies) required to conserve Port Sunlight's built heritage for the next 100 years.
The Heritage Policy and Permissions page includes a brief description of heritage policy and a Q&A section to clearly answer your questions regarding what you can and cannot do as of right in the Village. The Q&A section is not exhaustive. If you are in doubt, please get in touch with the Conservation Adviser.
